Something Fresh

So I have decided to start my blog up as fresh as possible. I have decided to use WordPress, just to free myself of the spammers who got a hold of my other blog system. Life moves on. You won’t see any of the old posts. I’m starting this thing again from scratch. I hope you enjoy it.

Spammers get ahold of WordPress too (sometimes). I have one that spammer that just hits this one post — over and over. I had to disable comment links. Bastards. They ought to know it won’t do any good, no one reads my blog.

man, my last blog got slaughtered. I figured with WordPress I could at least try and control it, with more ease at least.

Install the Askimet plugin for WordPress. It catches most of my comment spam quite well.

I always have terrible trouble with comment-related plugins that require me to put some line in the comment loop; I can never seem to find the right spot. Can anyone tell me where I should put the php line in my comments loop? I haven not modified anything much, and I would be very grateful. Thanks!

The Askimet plug in installs directly to Word Press, you don’t have to add any additional code, as far as I remember.
