Jimmy Eat World says: Goodbye, Sky Harbor. Aaron says: Hello! Sky Harbor

Phoenix’s magnificent Sky Harbor Airport has free public WiFi. +1,000 to you Phoenix. You are 15 years ahead of the rest of the U.S.. I see you as a pioneer. Such an easy addition to a public space, such a wonderful upgrade to a boring and tedious experience. I salute you. I hope there are many more businesses and areas like you.

There was free Wi-Fi at the Kansas City airport as well … you’d think airports, of all places, would be wary of “free” access to a network … but alas, I guess Starbucks has much more to worry about ….

There were a few Starbucks there, but they were all the smaller, kiosk-type stations. I’m guessing that is a reason why they weren’t made into full stores. Or maybe there wasn’t room. Either way, free WiFi kicks it neue school style.

The next time I have another 9 hours to kill in an airport waiting on stand-by, I will try and make it Kansas City or Phoenix.

Go ahead and comment. I won't make fun of you too much.
