Amen to the eyes open part. I’ve always connected music and travel. I always have my iPod playing when I’m hiking of back backing, the music is always playing in my car while I drive.

I love your first paragraph. I thought that was a girl thing to imagine entire lives and alternate realities. It is a favorite pasttime of mine. I suppose it can’t be an all bad thing considering God gave us imaginations for a reason. Anyway, I hope whatever’s weighing your mind down is finding some answers or at least some peace.

lately, i can relate closely to this sentiment…my feeble mind is so easily overwhelmed with unnecessary cares. I find the seat of my bike or the deck of my skateboard my favorite places to pray most of the time (with my eyes open, right?) There’s something soothing about the nature of travel that relates closely to music and conversation, at least in my mind.
