I like the WriteMaps idea - what a great tool. Here's my problem: I just created a map for a client's website. What I'd like to do is to be able to share that map with that client without giving them my login name/password. They should offer a login for the client to view their map. Also, I'd love to be able to write a brief paragraph on the purpose/direction of the page - so the client understands what content will be on that page.

WriteMaps has the beginning infrastructure there - but it's still lacking.

I do man, such a great little tool for freelancers.

I think it's a perfect, perfect solution for people who deal mainly smaller sites, smaller clients, or people who just have no idea what kind of website they want. Is this going to be a good solution for someone who is going to drop $30k on a crazy e-commerce site with tons of functionality? Probably not. But is it perfect for the guy who is going to pay $3,000 or $5,000 for a site for his glass blowing business who has no idea what he really wants? I think so. It's super easy to use, others enough functionality that any yahoo can sign in and make a site map that will make sense to a designer without 30 emails back and forth trying to figure out what they client really wants. I think Scott has come up with a fantastic little web app that will help many a freelancer.
