America: The Last Best Hope, Vol. II
I was like a kid in a candy store yesterday when I opened my mailbox and found my Amazon order had arrived. I had almost forgotten about it, since I had placed the order in February. I cannot tell you how excited I am to finally find out what happens to America after 1914! Volume I was such a cliffhanger!
Seriously though, I’m excited about this book. William Bennett is absolutely brilliant. I’ve written about the first volume previously and I assume the second volume will be just as amazing. American history is such a rich and glorious one. I truly am blessed to be living in this country, regardless of what others think.
The Great War, World War II, the Reagan years, I really am excited to start digging into our history again. I’m most interested to read Bennett’s capturing of WWII. I’ve been watching the PBS documentary The War, and I’m curious for more angles and info.
Did I mention I’m excited?

Go ahead and comment. I won't make fun of you too much.
