Record EU fine for Microsoft

Everyone who knows me knows I’m not a fan of Windows, but if I was Microsoft, I would just stop selling my product in Europe after crap like this. Although, if that happened, I’m sure the greedy bastards would sue Microsoft for not selling their product in Europe. What a socialist rat nest.

Michael Arrington, in his latest TechCrunch post, said it well:

EU?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s chief Microsoft-taxer, errr, antitrust chief, Neelie Kroes, seems determined to make a name for herself by filling the EUs coffers. But perhaps it?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s time for Europe to stop looking for the Microsoft handouts, and start promoting actual capitalism within their borders. <…> Those who can, do. Those who can?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t apparently live in Brussels and engage in a legalized shakedown of Microsoft every couple of years.
