This American Life

I’m a general fan of Ira Glass and This American Life. I subscribe to the podcast, listen each week, but sometimes they interview someone who is obviously as dumb as a rock, sharp as a marble. This dude was one of them.

He fought the owners and the sales force tooth and neck.

Tooth and neck? I bet this guy was the inspiration for the bartender in “Boondock Saints”.

P.S. - This is my 200th post. What a waste to use it on this.

laura and i always use a term like that that we saw on the simple life. yes. the crappy paris hilton show. but it was this scrawny indian guy with slightly broken english in frustration at the girls saying: “they’re really getting on my neck!”

I def heard that phrase in this week’s american life. It actually made me question if I had ever said the saying correctly.

Go ahead and comment. I won't make fun of you too much.
